TCF to Participate in SOCAP12 and Host Breakout Event on Telecentres as Social Market Channels

SOCAP12 – Making Meaning Matter will officially kick off today, October 1, at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, California. Telecentre.org Foundation, led by Executive Director Miguel Raimilla, will be participating as a network partner in the four-day conference.

SOCAP is a premier annual event that brings together the world’s pioneering impact investors, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, civic leaders, and innovators to form partnerships and mobilize resources and capital for social good.

Meanwhile, on October 3, 5pm, at Room C205 of the Meeting and Activity Space at Fort Mason Center, TCF will be hosting a breakout session that will highlight telecentres as global distribution channels for social markets. In the same event, TCF will also be sharing information on how its Telecentre Women initiative has now reached 82 countries and is changing the lives of close to 400,000 grassroots women through digital literacy.
